“Shelter and Form did an amazing job remodeling 2 full bathrooms and our garage space. Our 1970’s bathrooms were in drastic need of improvement and Chris made our dreams a reality. Both bathrooms received a major remodel with relocation of fixtures, removal of built-in storage closets, new tile flooring, and new tile showers (including a new steam shower in the master bathroom). Chris completely transformed our two car garage from a cluttered mess to a highly functional space that includes new cabinetry/work space, a sink, a mudroom area, plenty of storage space, and a lounge/ tv area. Custom everything. Bubinga veneered lower panels, Primavera Upper Panels, Star pattern primavera coffer panels, fluted mouldings, and gold leafed trim. Stained Cherry.

MANHATTAN OFFICE

Outdoor timber frame structure with wood-fired cob oven and natural materials

Sustainably forested Hemlock frame, White Oak pegs, Vermont slate roof. Cob, brick, glass, and stone bread oven. 

COBOVEN TIMBERFRAME

Custom tiny house on trailer with wood cladding and geometric window design at dusk

Designed and Built in a semester long course. Douglas Fir, rubber membrane, acrylic, and plywood. Self sustaining micro cabin with photovoltaic panels, composting toilet, water tank with sink and pump, desk, adjustable futon, and mini woodstove.
